Quail Lake had two teams compete at Fresno State in the Regional Science Bowl. It is a academic competition that tests students’ knowledge in all areas of science and mathematics. These teams face-off in a fast-paced, question-and-answer format. A buzzer system similar to those seen on popular television game shows is used to signal an answer. Teams are tested on a range of science disciplines including biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy, and math. Team 1 was made up of Gagan Chahal, Rynee Wejisignhe, Olivia Borsch, Laurel Machoian, Amadeo Chaidez, and Team two was Tommy Zumkeller, Angelica Paz, Chase Hatch, Japnoor Kaur, and Nathan Acapulco. They both did a wonderful job. Team 2 was even able to compete all the way through to round six. This was only two rounds away from the finals. Great job Falcons! And thank you for all of your support Coach Loflin!
